Made in the alpine region of the far north west of Italy called the Valle d’Aoste (or the Valle d’Aosta depending on wether you use the French or Italian name as they speak both) from a blend of several a local varieties, mainly a type of Nebbiolo they call Picatendro.
It’s light in color but full in flavors of smoked meat and warm flowers.
